Bailie Group / CDS

Bailie Group wanted their Leeds city centre base at Riverside House modernised to support flexible working both now and in the future.

Bailie case study

Bailie Group and CDS wanted Riverside House to become a home from home and a future flexible space that would challenge the notion of the traditional workplace. In particular they asked for it to have ‘memorable impact’ in order to help attract and retain the best talent. This project’s design, led by Claremont,  was driven by the desire to think beyond work. This is a workplace that is future flexible, giving The Bailie Group and CDS the scope to expand and become more agile in time. Of our products, Leo soft-seating, Tubes stools and Beam tables were utilised to create this environment.

This project’s design was driven by the desire to think beyond work. This is more than a workplace and is future flexible.

Leo sofas were used in multiple settings throughout the space to create breakout areas which could be used for meeting, collaborating, or simply enjoying a lunch break.

Natural light, as well as a mixture of woods, metals and brick were deployed throughout the project to create a raw yet modern and sleek aesthetic. Beam tables were specified to support collaborative and activity-based working, with the high tables encouraging employees to gather and conduct work together efficiently.

Bailie case study Tube stools

A key feature of the space was the conversion of an entire floor into a social and collaborative workspace for employees to come together. Tubes stools were utilised at multiple points in multiple configurations to support the overall goal of a flexible space where employees can congregate and carry out any task necessary.
