DAC Beachcroft

DAC Beachcroft required a new global headquarters which supported their existing workforce and international visitors, with the scope for future growth. They needed a space which encouraged collaboration, as well as areas for quiet reflection which could also accommodate first-class, client-focused facilities. It was also incredibly important for the space to be used efficiently, to encourage greater workplace agility and a cultural shift for the long-term. Claremont specified multiple pieces of Connection office furniture, most notably the Mae and Hygge statement chairs.

Following the renovation, the office space now supports an agile, forward-thinking firm. Although the floor space is a third smaller than  DAC Beachcroft’s previous home in London, it is now fully equipped for flexible working habits and activity-based working. This has resulted in a dynamic space which gives colleagues greater space, freedom, and mobility.

Spread across one floor, the main office is now completely agile, with three project rooms, focus rooms, internal meeting rooms, collaborative project areas and a 100-seat work-café zone. The overall design concept combines agility, sustainability and biophilia to create a modern space which encourages employees to be flexible and collaborate.

A natural colour palette and extensive planting was implemented to provide a sense of light and calm, which is proven to have a positive impact on employee wellbeing.

DAC Beachcroft Mae chair

The Mae chair is a statement seating range, ideal for relaxed environments. Claremont specified the high-back version of Mae in receptions areas in the space. The high-back provides both visual and acoustic privacy, making this configuration of the Mae chair ideal for waiting areas and quiet zones for private meetings.

DAC Beachcroft Hygge

Similar to the Mae chair in that it’s a high-back, statement seating range, the Hygge combines comfort with contemporary Scandinavian design. The beautiful wooden outer and legs compliment the rest of the space and meet DAC Beachcroft’s requirement to have a space which embraces natural elements and promotes wellbeing.
