Arden University required multi-functional spaces that could support the evolving needs of modern learners.

Through collaborative sessions with end users, the design team refined the spatial and functional requirements to ensure the final scheme would truly serve its purpose.
Connection’s products were integral to achieving the desired flexibility, comfort, and visual cohesion. Each product was carefully chosen for its adaptability and contribution to the human-centric learning experience.
The Kuppel personal workspace booth offers a quiet retreat for focused individual work or one-to-one collaboration. Its distinctive domed form not only added architectural character to the space but also offered exceptional acoustic comfort, supporting neurodiverse students who benefit from low-stimulation environments. The Kuppel helped define zones within the open-plan layout, balancing the energy of group areas with peaceful, enclosed spaces for concentration


In contrast, the Leo sofa system was introduced within the Communal Breakout Hub to encourage informal collaboration and social interaction, with flexible configurations and upholstery aligned to Arden University’s brand palette contributing to an inclusive and inviting atmosphere.
Completing the scheme, the Xpresso multi-purpose chair provided a lightweight, stackable, and ergonomic seating solution, enabling rapid reconfiguration of teaching spaces while supporting both extended use and Arden’s sustainability goals.
The completed STEM Room and Breakout Hub embody the future of agile learning environments. Through the integration of Connection’s adaptable furniture, Showcase PSR and Arden University created a space that is flexible, inclusive, sustainable and engaging.
The result is a learning environment that not only supports Arden University’s academic ambitions but also enhances the student experience, empowering learners to thrive in a space designed for the future.
