Ascentis wanted an interactive, hybrid workspace which inspired their staff. The result was a vibrant and collaborative workspace which supported flexible, modern working practices whilst retaining a sense of fun and freedom.
Alongside the huge production area, new work-café spaces designed for breakout and relaxation were implemented to encourage employees to disconnect from work on their breaks and ultimately create a happier and more productive workforce.
Maze Workplace were commissioned to carry out the build which featured numerous spaces in one, including an employee cafeteria with numerous separate tables and breakfast bars, ideal for relaxing and socialising, as well as various breakout areas for more private relaxation. Canova work café chairs and Luna work café chairs were all specified within the space to meet client requirements.
New spaces designed for breakout and relaxation were implemented to encourage employees to disconnect from work on their breaks.
Canova work café chairs featured prominently within the cafeteria area and were ideal both in terms of practicality and aesthetics. The bright pops of yellow and blue were complimented beautifully by corresponding fabric choices from the Camira Main Line Flax range. The touches of colour, contrasting with the overall industrial aesthetic ensure a comfortable yet modern work café space.
Finally, Luna chairs were placed within the breakout area of the cafeteria space. Although robust, the soft, distinctive curves, coupled with a muted colour palette create a highly versatile chair, ideal for the relaxed breakout area of this particular space.
